There is the peaceful lake resort of Senhora da Ribeira, where you can moor your boat in the marina, hire a canoe, or sip a glass of wine whilst overlooking the water.
In the town you will find a cinema, swimming pool, banks, supermarkets, shop, restaurants, cafés, a Sunday market and a Health Centre.
